X is fine but slow scroll performance in console

Hey folks

When I switch to the console I have horrible scrolling performance. E.g. dmesg takes forever to show. All in X is fine.

tty isn't accelerated, so it's normal. Use e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fbterm or https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KMSCON
