Suspend on my system often hangs PC

Hi. I have Arch Linux with self-built kernel for KVM/QEMU gaming machine ( https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=162768 , linux-mainline-3.18.0 + acs override patch + i915 vga arbiter fixes) and have weird suspend problem which I did not have when using stock kernel - both suspend and hibernation don't work properly.

In case of suspend - it works only with "s2ram" tool which would be fine, but it only does work sometimes. Breaks too often to have comfort and reliability. Instead of proper suspend I see only a single underscore on main monitor and whole system hangs - can't even SSH/switch virtual console. I guess it's similar to that problem - https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=157089  -but here I don't have any solutions really. I have to reboot/shutdown with power button then. Worst thing is, there aren't any informations in logs - when I look onto them I have only information about reboot.

Hibernation never works with that kernel - I just got kernel panic.

Suspending would be best, but both option would be fine. I have Intel Core i5-3550 CPU (Sandy Bridge), use Nvidia-340xx proprietary driver, it's desktop computer. I would like any sugestions, because I can't even narrow which elements (working apps/services? load? time?) may or may not interfere with suspend process and hang my PC.
