could not log in after upgrading to 3.18

After simple pacman -Syu and reboot my laptop boot successfully, but when lock screen prompts for login/password I'm unable to use neither mouse nor keyboard. Everything is ok with 3.17.4

Did anyone spotted this issue too?

By the way what I supposed to do with it? git bisect?

Re: could not log in after upgrading to 3.18

Can you chroot using the installer-iso, schedule an ssh server and login remotely to investigate further? What specs are your mouse&keyboard, and how are they connected? Post your lsusb and lspci

Re: could not log in after upgrading to 3.18

Happened to me as well on my desktop. With help from the IRC I successfully downgraded my kernel and nvidia driver and am now able to use my KB and mouse again.
I can post anything needed from my journal if anyone wants as I doubt I can troubleshoot where the problem lies myself.

The one oddity I did notice while it was booting from grub was an error with lm-sensors.

The journal entry looked like this.

Jan 16 20:46:02 kiba sensors[306]: No sensors found!
Jan 16 20:46:02 kiba systemd[1]: lm_sensors.service failed.
Jan 16 20:46:02 kiba systemd[1]: Unit lm_sensors.service entered failed state.
Jan 16 20:46:02 kiba systemd[1]: Failed to start Initialize hardware monitoring sensors.
Jan 16 20:46:02 kiba systemd[1]: lm_sensors.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
