New ati-drivers version available - supposed to work with 2.6.15. I'm downloading it as I type and will be preparing (and testing) packages ASAP.

Hm ... when I look at the date of my last post in this topic ... it seems that it was a very very long weekend
*sorry*
But know here I am again. With nearly solving this problem.
Just Install Xorg7 and ati-fglrx-arch/ati-fglrx-archck.
A simple "aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf" and you see ... graphic with 3D rendering and so on.
Only at the first startups I mentioned the but. But after a few more boots everything runs as want it to run. (mysterious thing that it just appears at the first startups, but doesn't matter ... now it works)
Only one question left:
Is it normal that ati-fglrx-archck conflicts with the libgl-dri?

It's normal for ati-fglrx-utils to conflict with libgl-dri, yes. They both install the file /usr/lib/libGL.so. If you're using ati's fglrx, then you need to use ati-fglrx-utils -- it's installed as a dependency.
