I am having troublse with Arch's latest version of qt5 and qt5 libraries from a previous version that come with a software product I need to link against. I am getting problems at compilation time that suggest there is a conflict between different version of qt5 picked up by the linker.
I thought I could perhaps downgrade my installation of qt5 to the previous one, but I could not find a way to downgrade the whole qt5 group. Is there one?
qt5 includes 23 packages and I would like to avoid ending up with my system in an inconsistent state.
Thx,
Stefano

See the list of packages you installed
$ pacman -Qqg qt5
If you haven't any backup I think you'll find the hardest way to go back.
See wiki for downgrading.
Thanks for the prompt answer. I was aware of the pacman options and the wiki page. So the answer is no.
I'll mark the question as solved (as it were).

The system may be alive and kicking, but for the DE I doubt for its stability.
You may switch to another DE and uninstall the qt5. It's a trial, the result you'll find it out yourself
do it good first, it will be faster than do it twice the saint
