Have you thought of making an Inkscape-CVS pkgbuild?
No, but I am now!

Hi Shadowhand,
Great job indeed!
Could it be possible to have different versions of compiz according to the DE (kde, xfce, or gnome) ?And must glxcompmgr depends on gconf ?

inkscape does not like Arches autotools for some reason :?
so you will have to look at the tallballs that have the ./configure files [url=http://www.inkscape.org/cvs-snap/]here[url]
i built not long before the last release it take ages to build, but had some thi
ng in it that were not in the release :x

Maybe the answer is obvious, but I can't work it out; xfwm4-svn hasn't been updated for the last few repo updates, neither has gaim-cvs. Maybe they aren't building, I don't know, just mentioning it.

I was out of town for a few days, and I need to setup my chroot to build gaim again. Next update on Sat. will have a new gaim-cvs.
Packages are getting rebuilt right now with the new GCC. 8)

Take a look at the Rezlooks theme from xfce-look.org, it has animation.

You see, it was not that difficult to answer
By the way, is it just a choice to choose gnome support ?
I mean is it possible, rewriting your PKGBUILD for compilz or glxcompmngr to remove all the gnome stuffs and only xfce ?

No, it would require modifying compiz.

shadowhand, you should make shared-mime-info a dependency for thunar.

If you use testing, some xfce-svn packages will not work (notably thunar & xfdesktop). I built those packages against testing, and created a small "overlay" repo, complementary to shadowhand.
To get these packages, put this over shadowhand's, and update as usual:
[xfce-svn-testing]

Thanks, stavrosg!
Man, I get confused about where and when I have to read what about these nice repos....

that's probably because it's from svn (it's development - subversion, a "replacement for cvs"). if you want stable, don't use the svn ![]()

Hmm, using xfce-svn, the "taskbar" doesn't work, there's no configuration things for the taskbar or panel, the only thing I can add to the panel are launchers, and there's a ton of complaints about "incompatible modules".
Make sure you removed stable xfce first.
pacman -Rc xfce && pacman -S xfce4-svn xfce4-svn-extraThat should take care of it.

Hi,
i have been using the shadowhand's repo for a few week now (mostly in order to be able to use thunar) and i recently installed thunar-media-tags-plugin but i don't see how to use it : it just doesn't change anything in thunar (nothing in context menu when clicking on a mp3 or when i look at the file's properties)...
Does any one have any ideas about it ?
thx.

When you right click on a media file, select Properties, and you will see a new tab called "Audio", which will have the tags and crap. If you select several files, and then right click and select Rename the dialog is different.

I don't have the audio tab here but the *mass rename* tool is available (and very handy).
Thunar is definitly a great file manager, can't wait to see a thunar-archive-plugin working with xarchiver.

Doesn't work here... I'll try to see with an ogg file.
