Hi dear All,

I am running arch on my dell xps and it works great.

I could run "xrandr -o inverted" in order to reverse the screen, but now it doesn't work aymore: I get a blank screen and I have to force shutdown.

I hope somebody could help.

Which desktop environment/window manager are you using?

What is your hardware?

What has changed on your system since it last worked?

Re: xrandr doesn't work anymore with my Dell xps 12

I have gnome-shell 3.14.3 with kernel 3.18.2-2.

Video card is intel hd4400.

I performed lots of updates and haven't use xrandr -o inverted in a while, so I don't really know what's changed.

Re: xrandr doesn't work anymore with my Dell xps 12

I have the same problem with my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro.

Everything was working fine, when suddenly a couple of weeks ago

xrandr -o inverted

started to give a black screen. The strange thing is that

xrandr -o left

and

xrandr -o right

are still working.

I am currently using gnome-shell 3.14.2 and my kernel is 3.18.5-1.

Have you managed to solve?

If not, is there anyone who could please help us to collect some info about the problem? I found no hints in the Xorg log file nor in the xrandr error bus.

Thank you very much
