I have a dual boot computer running Arch and Win 7 Pro (64) in UEFI Mode. Arch is freezing very randomly, so I am trying to re-install Arch (This is install has been running for a while--over a year). However, as I have rediscovered that this MB has some serious issues with UEFI.
I have tried 2 different thumb drives and a CD but nothing will boot into UEFI mode either direction from selecting it on Boot or from rEFInd. I have tested the thumb drives on my laptop and they work just fine booting into UEFI.
According to the Arch Hash tool, Secure boot is off (though, i can't seem to find even where to turn it off or on in the UEFI BIOS though (which I think is odd).

Do you get this error? "Failed to install override security policy: (14) Not Found".
I have the same MB and needed to copy loader.efi to bootx64.efi on the installation device. That solved my problem.

Yeah, tried that -- maybe there was something I missed. I don't know -- really dang annoying. I had to remaster the ISO to attempt that. I guess, I'll do it again and see. Thanks!
