[Resolved] Acer C720 Boot Loop with 2015.01.01

I'm stuck in a boot loop after creating and attempting to boot from a USB with the 2015.01.01 image. I boot from the USB and see the Arch splash screen and hit enter, but then I am greeted with the blazing white Google Chromebook bootup screen (which is present before SeaBIOS loads every boot). The process repeats itself. I feel like this bug may be the issue. I currently have Fedora 21 installed on my disk, so SeaBIOS is set up correctly for the machine.

Can anyone else with a Chromebook confirm that this is a problem with 2015.01.01? What's a potential work around?

Quick update: 2014.11.01 gives me the same issue. In addition I've found that I can't boot from the existing HD through the Arch menu either, as it gives me the same boot loop.
