Thanks Ivo, I'm a big fan of your Github. I seen that patched version allright in the AUR.
I decided to do my own for some practice.
Someday I will get my configs more organised and put them on Github.

Happy belated new year everyone!
Just switched to dwm after about 3 year of steady xmonad. It feels so clean, and is inspiring me to write small utilities in C (like the program that feeds my dzen).
Still getting used to the whole tags aren't workspaces thing, but it's catching on quick.
EDIT: It would also be nice to get compton to ignore my dwm system bar bar

Trying out stuff like Xfce makes me appreciate i3 even more. Not saying I dislike Xfce in anyway, but tiling is tiling.

Well, if you prefer tiling and like to use Xfce, you could try XMonad in combination with Xfce. The basic configuration is pretty easy.
That's how my desktop actually looks like:
A late Happy New Year all btw!

Gave my panel a new touch with gohufont and solarized colours. I also patched bar to be able to use a specific font (for the bold desktop names). I very much like the looks of the bold variant of gohufont – it stays very readable even at 11px!

Nice setup. You should try TinEye Reverse Image Search to find his wall. Check it out: http://tineye.com/search/2fd4ee44a29b98 … 3d4c2d189/
