[SOLVED]Emacs font rendering problem

I'm considering switching from mac to arch linux, but found the emacs font rendering is unbearable for me (I'm running arch linux in virtualbox)

(left is mac, right is linux)

I'm using the same font and same size (Menlo-12), but in linux the font is much larger

Same color scheme, different displaying
left font size is 12px, right is 8px

Any tip for me?

Re: [SOLVED]Emacs font rendering problem

If you're considering on switching to Arch, you should consider on reading the docs.... shouldn't be hard for an emacs user. wink

Re: [SOLVED]Emacs font rendering problem

Maybe a wrong DPI setting somewhere, either in Linux or in VirtualBox?
