Hi, I've recently updated to gwenview 5.0.0 pre together with the whole kde upgrade (using KDE frameworks 5.6.0) and found out that XCFs files are not previewing or even listing any more.
I tried to downgrade gwenview to version 4.14.0 pre and it works partially: xcf files appear again but in certain folders with big xcf files gwenview crashes (previously it worked, maybe its related to the fact that I just downgraded gwenview, not libraries, etc?).
I've opened a topic in KDE's forum and checked Arch's wiki entry about Plasma and made some advances (I wasn't even able to see svgs thumbs) after following some tips on upgrading to Plasma, but still can't even list xcf files in gwenview.
A person using OpenSuse says he can view xcfs normally.
Is it possible that I have to enable xcf's previews somewhere in kde's or gwenview's conf?
Btw I'm running gwenview inside gnome-shell, but Im having the same results when logging in with Plasma...
I've tried with and without libgnomeui.
Let me know if theres smtg obvious Im missing or if I should attach more info, etc.
thanks in advance!

You need to install kimageformats ald qt5-imageformats for additional image format support.

OMG!!! they were installed, but tried reinstalling and now it works!!!
[root@psyd2 mat]# pacman -S qt5-imageformats
warning: qt5-imageformats-5.4.0-3 is up to date -- reinstalling
[root@psyd2 mat]# pacman -S kimageformats
warning: kimageformats-5.6.0-1 is up to date -- reinstalling
however now gwenview is crashing when entering a folder with big xcf files which wasnt happening before the upgrade, but I'll open a new topic with this issue.
thank you so much!!!
