Re: refresh reate problems

I think you need to use a framebuffer to be able to adjust the frequency in the consoles.

A bus station is where a bus stops.
A train station is where a train stops.
On my desk I have a workstation.

Re: refresh reate problems

It's enabled by default: the Arch-kernel has the vesafb compiled in. All you need to do is pass the right arguments (e.g. "VGA=771") at the boot prompt to make use of the framebuffer.
