Stable gvfs-mtp mountpoint for Android phone

I have an Android phone that I connect to my machine using an USB cable. It doesn't support acting as a USB storage, only MTP, so I've set up gvfs-mtp which does work, however, every new connect to the machine ends up giving the phone a new device id/number, causing the automount to place it at a new location.

Is there some way to tell gvfs(/udev?) a place to mount this phone when connected, or do I have to drop gvfs-mtp and switch to something like jmptfs?
