I recently set up jack2-dbus, and I haven't been able to get any sound output. Looking at qjackctl's connection's interface sheds some light on the issue. It looks like system is not a writable client. As of now, running any program which uses jack sends output to the PulseAudio Jack Source, which doesn't seem to be playing any audio. Is pulseaudio at fault here?

What's your JACK configuration (interface, channels, realtime, etc)? Do you see any error messages in qjackctl's message log?

Strange. I just restarted my computer today and now everything is working. The system entry appears in qjackctl's connections menu. Not sure what I did to fix it, but it seems like everything is in order.
