Hello,
I saw the wiki as it spoke of how this kernel uses a unreliable server, but has anyone been able to download this? I added the webaddress in my pacman.conf about 8 times but I always end with a corrupt package. I also tried to just down load the file from the site, but with the same result.
I love computers, networking and Arch Linux. Sometimes I might ask a stupid question, but please have grace with me like I would with you.

It breaks connection, but pacman can continue from the breakage point, just be a little stubborn and it will work. You can also use the wget Xfer command in /etc/pacman.conf for automatic download resume.

It's a known issue and discussed in the Wiki.
Claire is fine.
Problems? I have dysgraphia, so clear and concise please.

I once had huge problems - either it wouldn't download at all or the download speed was outright pathetic. This happened on one update only and I seemed to be the only person affected.
Try again later.

clfarron, I do know it is a known issue as I said in my first post I saw the wiki. I was coming to the fourms to see what people are doing to make it work for them. I tried wget, it still downloads a corrupt package. the download speed is not an issue it is the disconnect. I will continue to try. I do have pacman.conf set up for automatic download resume. I will try again later tonight.
