Umm im just wondering does can anyone tell me why arch is still pretty much missing gnome 2.14 when other distros have 2.14 ready (well, Fedora Core) im not complaining at all im just wondering why that is..is the strucure of arch that diffrent? and is this version of arch actaually going to have the admin tools which were glaringly missing from gnome 2.12?
In this land of the pain the sane lose not knowing they were part of the game.

the devs are probably busy working on it.
*Most* distributions do not have it. It just came out the other day.
I would say waiting a little while, so the devs can actually test it, before simply slapping it together and pushing it to the mirrors..is a good thing.
If you want it super quick, I believe a couple of people in irc were working on a pkgbuild for it. You might try inquiring there, to get your hands on the bleeding-est edge you can. ![]()
You might also try looking in the 'testing' repo. Likely it will show up there first.

IIRC the version Blaasvis has in his repo is not the final version. Agreed though, this topic should be closed.
