after install xgl [use shadowhand packages 2006-03-16],
use startxgl 1 gnome nvidia (my video card is geforce mx 400)
xgl start up successful,and i can run opera in xgl (post this message),
but i found any gtk2 and gnome application can't startup with followwing error:
*** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice
*** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice
The program 'gedit' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length erro'.
(Details: serial 441 error_code 16 request_code 150 minor_code 20)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)any one can help

It's a bug in cairo, we'll upgrade to the new cairo version soon, which contains a fix for this bug.
