Incredible scrots, discussions and feedback all through January by everyone involved. Thank you!
Time for a new thread.
Posting Guidelines
· DO NOT post full resolution screenshots! You can use the "mogrify" command (pacman -S imagemagick) to make a thumbnail of your screenshot:
$ convert -resize 250x250 screenie.png thumb-screenie.png
Sizes Twenty percent of the original size is great for 1024x768 screenies. For bigger sizes (and especially for multi-monitor setups), we ask you to keep in mind not everyone uses broadband, and use an even smaller size (10% of a Full HD setup will still be 192x108, for example). NOTE: Anything wider than 250px or over 50Kb in size will be removed.
You can then upload these images to your server and use the following code to show them on the forum:

*Thanks to Thayer for the screenie (more...)
· Several websites offer free image hosting.
Use the "thumbnail for forums" link code that is supplied by the image host to post your thumbnail link.
· Once the new month begins please do not post new screenies in the old threads.
· If the screenshot has questionable material that might not be safe to view while at work or in a school setting, please post only a link and not a thumbnail, along with a mention of "Not Safe for Work". Posts that do not adhere to this are subject to deletion without notice at any time.
· Please try to include any links to your wallpaper or configs that you may have and/or the names of your icon theme, running apps, DE, etc. in the same post to reduce unnecessary clutter later.
***** Your screenshot will be replaced by a reminder if you do not follow these guidelines *****
* As a simple way to include information about your setup in the screenshot, you can use a tool like screenfetch (in [community]) or Archey, screenfo or alsi (all in AUR) to print out details about your window manager, font, shell etc., with a very attractive ASCII Arch logo...

This time, I wrote a more complex theme. This is to fight back against flat design I grew tired of. Lots of shadow, gradients and 3D effects. Code link in my signature

Xfce Linux-CK. Just started to use Tmux, wish I would have found it sooner. Here is my config. Maybe some one could share there's, mine's a little hacked together. Lol. I'd like to clean it up a bit.

Gotta love those high-resolution TTYs...
Thank you, actually its a thin Tint2 config running together with openbox.
The ascii art looks great, and lol at the HD tty.

@exidux: I have no idea what that wallpaper is, but for a second I though Geof Darrow had illustrated yet another comic out about rogue cyborgs destroying a city. Got me excited for a moment.

Appleseed, a cyberpunk manga (japanese comic) series from the late 1980's about a city controlled by a computer, and terrorism against its inhumane lifestyle. It contains cyborgs and exo skelletons / mecha / machines. Made before Ghost in the shell ( 1989 ), by the same man ; Masamune Shirow. It also has an old 2D movie, and a newer 3D serie.

DE/theme/icons ?
Sorry if it's obvious, I'm pretty much a beginner as far as DE's outside of Gnome go.

No problem. I do not use a full desktop it is pure openbox.
The terminal in the first screenshot also notes the themes and wm, with the screenfetch-dev script..
The bar at the botom is tint2.

This is actually a very slight modification of a really old setup, but I always really liked it so I recreated it.
Openbox + Bmpanel2 + conky + dmenu + tilda on my Acer c720 Chromebook
GTK Theme: greybird
OB Theme: greybird
Icons: elementary
Bmpanel2 Theme: Dmpanel2
Required conky fonts are Pizza Dude Bullets and Stylebats. Other than that all fonts are Droid Sans and Terminus. The icons in my panel are included with the Dmpanel2 theme which I found on box-look.org. The wallpaper is a cut and paste creation I threw together years ago from two images I found off of deviantart (I don't remember where the originals are anymore). If anyone wants it let me know, but I only have it in a 1366x768 resolution.
