Not really: you haven't provided any useful information. You are using Gnome, presumably (so GDM is not displaying)? Can you get to a TTY? What is in your journal?
Please read: How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

How did you install Arch? Have you read any of the wiki?
Please don't be a help vampire.

Does your desktop start if you remove network-manager-applet-gtk2 and use the version in [extra]?

Hello fauji!
To help you in the future: Reinstalling because of a misconfigure sounds a bit drastic. Next time you encounter a problem I suggest you just remove the faulty edit, and if you dont know what it was, a search with log file info will get you on the righ track, since most likely your problem is not unique. To get help here at the forum it is much easier to help you if you provide information about the error - for example log file info and step you took that made the error occur.
Regards
Martin
It is advised to follow the How to post guide when posting on the Arch forum. If one consciously jumps over these elementary steps like reading the wiki and providing necessary information about the problem, one can be regarded as a Help Vampire.

I know it was drastic .......................but it wasnt a sound misconfigration it was X which wasnt configured properly(i think so) and the login screen wasnt showing up. I had to submit a really important project the next day and there was no response from the thread so i had no choice.
