SMPlayer Problems. Could not see actual GUI?

So I've got a problem with playing .mkv files in smplayer(or in any video file for that matter). I've recently pacman -Syu, and tried repeatedly reinstalling it to no avail.
I cannot really describe it with words so here's a screenshot of the actual problem:

(forum url tags seem to not work for me)

Mplayer and gnome mplayer works perfectly, so smplayer is the only one that has a problem.

I'm using Arch on VirtualBox  4.3.20 on a Windows host with 3D acceleration enabled and max amount of video memory allocated to it(128 mb).
Done my homework only to find nothing that is similar to my problem.

Can't really right click on anything, and I can only close it using the lxdm task manager.

Re: SMPlayer Problems. Could not see actual GUI?

If you start smplayer with no video, do you see the gui?
Try to reset settings by running:

rm -r .config/smplayer/

And try do start the default gui:

smplayer -defaultgui
