Hi Guys,
Yesterday I got a new Laptop (Gigabyte P35) with Windows 8.1 pre-installed. I have installed Arch many times before but this was my first time dealing with Secure Boot and I messed up. Instead of choosing the correct boot path I choose the LOADER.EFI file, so now everytime I try to boot into the USB containing Arch I get two options 1. EFI Default Loader (Which does nothing). The second option takes me back to my hardware setup screen.
I am not sure, but I feel the solution would be to remove the entry I originally made, which was setting LOADER.EFI as the trusted boot path. And then setting the correct boot path. Any ideas how to accomplish this? (I've been trying for the last 4 hours and am giving up hope)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Regards

You are going to have to disable Secure Boot once you have installed Arch anyway so you might as well just turn it off now.
You should be able to delete individual NVRAM entries form your firmware (BIOS) options.

If you completed your installation, then chroot in it and rearrange your boot loader/manager
Other option is to start the Arch iso and correct your boot order by efibootmgr. Ensure that you have started in UEFI mode.
Several links in the proposed pages will clear up your doubts, in particular the second link.
