Renaming of old and unmaintained PKGBUILD

Hello,

I have an application I wish to add to the AUR, DisKMonitor, but when I looked it up in the AUR, the name was already taken by a PKGBUILD providing an old applet for KDE 3.5

I know I can change the name of my app, but in this case, this package seems dead to me, and is unmaintained, so maybe can I change the name of the package to diskmonitor-applet or something like this.

Anyone knows of guidelines in such a case ?

The package is orphan and crearly dead upstream (last release was over 8 years ago). Just overwrite it.

Make your case on the AUR mailing list, so a TU can action it for you.
