cant log onto my account in arch

You email forum@archlinux.org with details of the account: username, email address at a minimum.

You don't create a new account just to do that: see our policy on multiple accounts.

Once I have your email, I'll delete this thread and the account.

no i mean the my account on arch linux, when i made it it asked for a password and i left it blank, but when i boot into it it doesnt let me log in. ive tried using root pass word too. i just need to know how i can reset it using console or the live cd or something

The Beginner's Guide has details on setting, or resetting, the user password. If you need to change the root password, you can read this page:
