Sorry if I'm missing something obvious here or if this has been posted before, I searched the forums and the web and couldn't find anything helpful. I installed the latest versions of both the networkmanager and network-manager-applet packages from the official repos.
First I start the networkmanager (sudo systemctl start NetworkManager.service) then I start nm-applet. I try to connect to a network, it asks me the password, I enter it (which I'm positive is correct) then it tries to connect, asks me for the password again and repeats. Below is nm-applet's log:

It repeats itself every time I enter the password again. Below is my hosts file:
#
# /etc/hosts: static lookup table for host names
#
#<ip-address> <hostname.domain.org> <hostname>
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost AnarchBox
::1 localhost.localdomain localhost AnarchBox
# End of file

Can you connect using other methods (eg, netctl, dhcpcd.service, wicd, wpa_supplicant)?
EDIT: Can you connect using `nmcli`
# nmcli dev wifi con <SSID> password <password>

I've been connecting through wifi-menu without problems since I installed Arch. As for nmcli, it gives me the following error:
[ralph@AnarchBox ~]$ nmcli dev wifi con AnarchNet password **********
nmcli: error while loading shared libraries: libnm.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I then checked libnm-glib, and it was not installed, even though it's a dependency for networkmanager. I still couldn't connect through nmcli, so I checked the other dependencies, and dhclient, iproute2 and libmm-glib were also missing. I installed them, and I still have the same problem I started with, both with nm-applet and nmcli (nmcli will just try to connect and then the nm-applet window asking for a password pops up, then tries to connect again and repeats).

I tried installing all dependencies manually - a few of them weren't installed, no idea why - now it seems to actually connect to the network, but actually trying to access pages on browsers gives me errors and I soon get the "The network connection has been disconnected" notification from nm-applet. nm applet also doesn't seem to detect wired connections. I'm really running outta ideas here =/

Have you updated your system recently?
# pacman -Syu

Yes, I updated it earlier today and tried everything again. Is there any additional configuration needed for networkmanager that I'm missing?

I think you need to install gnome-keyring
Make sure all other networking .services are `disable`d (and `stop`ped).

gnome-keyring was already installed. The problem was that I was starting the NetworkManager.service while still connected from wifi-menu. All I had to do was enable the service and reboot. (facepalm) Thanks for shining me some light, Head_on_a_Stick!

You're welcome -- glad you got it sorted
