Very nice work with the bar!
Can you share the powerline bar configs? I also came across this beautiful panel used in bspwm.

Of course, I have the dotfiles in github -> https://github.com/electro7/dotfiles
Every day I change sometime. The workspaces indicator don´t work. I'm trying to replace a ugly script to get the workspaces for a hook using i3ipc-py library. Work in progress.

There's currently a pull request pending (and likely to be approved!) that allows pango markup in i3, which would probably allow powerlining i3bar

I have to say, it's *very* clean ;-)
Dirty:
terminal: terminology
compositor: compton with 0.7 opacity on inactive, 0.9 opacity on active terminal windows + 0.7 on i3bar
zsh-theme: af-magic from oh-my-zsh

That looks great Phanaton. Where is the background from and/or can it be shared?

I found this one: here, but I don't know if that is the original source.

Thanks Leonard, that looks similar - but it lacks the background pattern. The pattern looks a little to leafy/viney to be called paisley, but its something like that.

I got the background from reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/wallpapers/comm … ek/cayii6x
I added slightly more contrast and brightness to it, here is my version: http://i.cubeupload.com/1j7Lnr.png

Could you post install instructions? I assume just download the whole thing and paste to home folder? by installation instructions I mean, like the programs you are using, terminal is urvxt I am guessing, and you are probably using ncmpc, but like how are you getting the message counter and what is the irc client and chat clients that are shown on your bar. I guess a list of necessary applications for someone who wants to use your configs as a starting point is what I am asking for.

Got in a rage of customizing my i3+compton+conky today
Dude you willing to share i3config?
Offline
Well, it's not the nicest i3config, since I tried and experimented a lot...
i3config: http://pastebin.com/vbDMDEPv
the conkyscript I used which is a slightly modified version of a script posted here before(but I dunno from whom I have the script):
It's also quite dirty... The if then else switches are mostly not needed anymore

The programs i´m using in screenshot are:
- i3wm.
- bar -> https://github.com/LemonBoy/bar
- weechat.
- urxvt.
- ncmpc.
- vim.
- ranger.
- promptline -> https://github.com/edkolev/promptline.vim
Send me a private or create a issue in git repository, and I reply any question about my config.
About your first question, the counter for private irc highlight is done by the "~/bin/irc_warn" script, called in weechat by a highlight trigger. The script write in bar pipe the last nick and the number of unseen privates. (The status bar read a pipe for any data, ~/.i3/bar scripts).
Is a bit tricky, but I think is elegant.
In bspwn repositoty, you have more examples of bar pipe -> https://github.com/baskerville/bspwm/tr … ples/panel
