[SOLVED]upgraded vlc (2.1.5-5 -> 2.2.0-1) break amarok

dear all,

i just noticed that my amarok refused to play music after system upgrade.
after some investigation, i found that vlc was the problem, so i had to downgrade (2.2.0.1 -> 2.1.5.5)
is this a bug?

for reference, i use kde and phonon vlc as the backend

I don't know about amarok but what I know is that vlc 2.2.0 seems  buggy ( for example random black screen when opening h264 files ),

you can try the gstreamer phonon backend instead of phonon vlc

wow. after today update, still using vlc 2.2.0-1, it works
i believe because arch release update for phonon vlc
so, problem solved...
