New 2.6.16 Kernel Using -CK Available

I just compiled a new 2.6.16 kernel. It's highly optimized for my hardware, but I think there may be a few of you that would find it useful. Here's the README:

-- DISCLAIMER --------------------------------------------------
I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS KERNEL, TAKE NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR
YOU INSTALLING IT OR USING IT, OR THE DAMAGE IT MAY OR MAY NOT
CAUSE TO YOU, YOUR HARDWARE, OR YOUR MOTHER. THERE IS NO TECH
SUPPORT FOR THIS KERNEL BY ANYONE. IN FACT, FORGET IT EXISTS. :)
----------------------------------------------------------------
This is a desktop kernel compiled for Arch Linux. It's
very specific to a certain set of hardware:

    AMD64 CPU (K8)
    nForce4 or Via based motherboard
    emu10k1 or onboard sound
NVIDIA gfxcard users (but should work with ATI)

Features:
    !! NO SWAP SUPPORT !!
    !! NO FIREWIRE SUPPORT !!
    !! NO NFS SUPPORT !!
    SMP support
    ALSA support (modules)
JFS, XFS, ReiserFS, and EXT2/3 support
    SCSI usb disk emulation
    USB1/2 Support (modules)

Here's the kernel: http://people.os-zen.net/shadowhand/kernel
NOTE: You will need to use nvidia from Testing at the moment, there is a 2.6.16 specific patch to it.

Leave me a note if you decide to use it.

What's the purpose for disabling swap support?

Compile errors when it's enabled, but I think I may have a work around for that.

Thanks for the heads up about the nvidia issue.  I just custom compiled a CK patched 2.6.16 kernel and couldn't get the nvidia driver to build.  Enabling the testing repo in pacman.conf solved the problem.

Please report that sort of thing.

Fix: rm $startdir/src, compile, it works. The patches mess up compiles after that.
