[SOLVED] Something is eating up my disk space, and it is not /var

I noticed a few days ago, that my free disk space (on / partition) is decreasing by itself. When it went down to 0 first time, I freed some space up by clearing logs. After next two days or so, I'm back to 0, so I cleared pacman's cache. Now I'm again back to 0 free space on / . I didn't install anything. My /var directory didn't increase by that time at all, I have nothing more to clear. How can I diagnose this problem? Any ideas? yikes

man du

I put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do.  (Gune | Titan A.E.)

Might whip out the xdiskusage utility, that is if you already have it installed, and enough disk space left.

I may have to CONSOLE you about your usage of ridiculously easy graphical interfaces...

OMG, I'm super embarassed, it was huge mysql binary log in /var/lib/mysql, and I didn't catch this, because when I was looking for /var size - I forgot to do this as root _^_ (which only has access to this directory) . I'm sorry for unnecessary panic. yikes
