plasma-workspace-units-git

Could someone kindly explain to me what this does?

As I understand it I would systemctl enable all services listed here after installation: https://github.com/eliasp/plasma-worksp … stemd/user

I did not do this yet because I don't know what will happen... right now all this services already start itself. Wouldn't I first have to tell KDE to not start them so that systemd can start them?

Also, does this services have anything to do with the services found in kde's systemsettings under "start and stop" > "backgroundservices"?

Thanks in advance,
Otto

Re: plasma-workspace-units-git

Alright, I think I can explain it to myself by simply trying it out smile
First I saw that in sddm there is a new entry from systemd. When I tried to login with this session I got the message "plasma-workspace.target is not enabled". So i enabled it as well as the other services I found with "pacman -Ql".
Now the systemd-services work pretty much the same as before except that now I can see them i.e. systemadm --user. Not sure if there are any other benefits...
