After turning on my laptop (ASUS N550JK) I'm not able to start the xServer. A week ago it worked perfect.
I've tried different things like reinstalling the nvidia drivers or reinstalling every package in general.

Have you configured
/etc/X11/xorg.confor
/etc/xorg.conf?
have you checked
/etc/mkinitcpio.confat the line where it says MODULES""
if it says nouevau there, delete it, since that will make your Xserver to not work.

Hello f4rm0r,
there is no xorg.conf in /etc/. But there is a xorg.conf in /etc/X11.

# vim:set ft=sh
# MODULES
# The following modules are loaded before any boot hooks are
# run. Advanced users may wish to specify all system modules
# in this array. For instance:
# MODULES="piix ide_disk reiserfs"
MODULES=""
# BINARIES
# This setting includes any additional binaries a given user may
# wish into the CPIO image. This is run last, so it may be used to
# override the actual binaries included by a given hook
# BINARIES are dependency parsed, so you may safely ignore libraries
BINARIES=""
# FILES
# This setting is similar to BINARIES above, however, files are added
# as-is and are not parsed in any way. This is useful for config files.
FILES=""
# HOOKS
# This is the most important setting in this file. The HOOKS control the
# modules and scripts added to the image, and what happens at boot time.
# Order is important, and it is recommended that you do not change the
# order in which HOOKS are added. Run 'mkinitcpio -H <hook name>' for
# help on a given hook.
# 'base' is _required_ unless you know precisely what you are doing.
# 'udev' is _required_ in order to automatically load modules
# 'filesystems' is _required_ unless you specify your fs modules in MODULES
# Examples:
## This setup specifies all modules in the MODULES setting above.
## No raid, lvm2, or encrypted root is needed.
# HOOKS="base"
#
## This setup will autodetect all modules for your system and should
## work as a sane default
# HOOKS="base udev autodetect block filesystems"
#
## This setup will generate a 'full' image which supports most systems.
## No autodetection is done.
# HOOKS="base udev block filesystems"
#
## This setup assembles a pata mdadm array with an encrypted root FS.
## Note: See 'mkinitcpio -H mdadm' for more information on raid devices.
# HOOKS="base udev block mdadm encrypt filesystems"
#
## This setup loads an lvm2 volume group on a usb device.
# HOOKS="base udev block lvm2 filesystems"
#
## NOTE: If you have /usr on a separate partition, you MUST include the
# usr, fsck and shutdown hooks.
HOOKS="base udev autodetect modconf block keyboard keymap filesystems fsck"

Try if it works without xorg.conf first.

@Head_on_a_Stick:
I tried to generate a new xorg.conf But it doens't differs from my old.
@Raynman:
I didn't know that it is possible to start an xserver without an xorg.conf.I tried to run
startx -- -configBut I'm not sure if this is correct. However, when I run this command, my screen just goes black. Maybe I did something wrong? Or is this a good sign? Also, there is no "Screen not found" in the log file. But there are some other problems

Try simply "startx" without having xorg.conf.

@lucke:
After renaming xorg.conf, gdm is trying to load (?) and a message appears:
Oh no! Something has gone wrong.
A problem has occured and the system can't recover.
Please log out and try again.

But nothing happens when I press enter.

Any new messages in the logs? With the -config (which ate the "vt2" argument) it seems to be using the intel driver, so you probably have both integrated intel graphics and an nvidia GPU? I don't have any experience with that, but it seems like the kind of setup that might require a configuration file.

@Raynman:
Yes, the Nvidia 850M is a hybrig graphic card. I used bumblebee and it worked. I forgot that I removed bumblebee an hour ago to test if it could help to start gdm but it didn't worked. But when I reinstalled it, I was able to boot normaly like 2 weeks ago. Now it starts gdm ^_^
Is there something I should do now? Like generating a xorg.conf?
