Hello everybody,
I would like to ask for permission to create a specific page in the Wiki for the ARM Samsung Chromebook (mostly related to the hardware and ALARM-specific initialization, since the "normal" Arch handling is pretty equal to x86 Arch). Please note that I'm not an ALARM developer, simply a technology enthusiastic trying to ease the life of everyone who may eventually look for it.
As far as I know ALARM does not have an specific Wiki, so the best place (in my opinion) to place an article about Chromebook would be ArchWiki.
Obviously I won't do that if there is any reluctance, by whatever the reason is.
I'm open for your feedback.
Regards,
Jacobo

I think it'd be ok, because archlinuxarm.org links directly to the Arch wiki (under Support), and there's a wiki page on the Pi. Speaking of which, if you do this you should probably duplicate the the note found in the preface there.

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

Just wanted to post to say that the page has been created.

I will be adding some more information soon. And, as usual, all the collaboration is very welcome!
Very best,

The question to the admins
Is it possible to put the file
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6pzvraf3ko14s … now.bin.gz
on the server
it's not really convenient to have a link to a dropbox from wiki page?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sa … led_U-Boot
p.s. the same link is used on the archlinux arm forum http://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic … =80#p29341

At the risk of hijacking this thread, I have to ask for some clarification regarding the ARM-specific devices and their pertinent content on the ArchWiki. I understand that the "ForumEtiquette" prohibits asking for help regarding ArchLinux derivatives; given that ALARM is a community-supported project separate from ArchLinux, hosted on a separate website. Does the forum etiquette apply to the ArchWiki content or just the forums?

I think you missed Old threads/"necro-bumping", anyway wiki articles on ARM-specific devices are allowed as long as they are only categorized under Category:ARM_architecture.
