[SOLVED] Failed to insert 'acpi_call': Invalid argument

Hi,

I'm using the linux-lts and acpi_call-lts packages. The first one have been updated today and since that I get the following error:

mar 22 16:28:05 archws systemd-modules-load[142]: apply: /usr/lib/modules-load.d/acpi_call-lts.conf
mar 22 16:28:05 archws systemd-modules-load[142]: load: acpi_call
mar 22 16:28:05 archws systemd-modules-load[142]: Failed to insert 'acpi_call': Invalid argument

I don't have much more information, so I don't really know how to find a solution to fix it.

Thank you

Re: [SOLVED] Failed to insert 'acpi_call': Invalid argument

with calling dmesg you will also notice these lines:

[ 132.487029] acpi_call: disagrees about version of symbol proc_create_data
[ 132.487036] acpi_call: Unknown symbol proc_create_data (err -22)

Re: [SOLVED] Failed to insert 'acpi_call': Invalid argument

I haven't noticed that.

I've found that there's a bug report for nvidia-340xx-lts with the same symptoms, so I should probably open a bug report for acpi_call-lts and/or downgrade linux-lts.

Thank you

Re: [SOLVED] Failed to insert 'acpi_call': Invalid argument

Mark as solved because I have installed the latest version of linux-lts and acpi_call-lts packages and the issue is fixed.
