Hi all,
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Hawaii PRO [Radeon R9 290]
I have a 5 monitor setup.

The left screen and rights screen both work of HDMI and they are fine, the 3 screens in the middle are connected using Displayport 1.2.
This works okay in Windows (obviously, because ATI suck) but when in Linux it doesn't seem to detect the displays properly, instead it just sees it as "one screen".
Does the xf86-video-ati have any support for this? I have looked about, seen a few commits on it. But there is nothing in the wiki etc.
It would be cool to get it working in Linux. I only am "trailing" the setup out. I normally have a u3011 instead of 3 X P monitors.
Thanks

There's this post on Phoronix mentioning support coming with the 4.1 kernel, so maybe it will work then, but right now only the intel driver has support for MST.

ah nice link. I missed that. Thank you.
That's a shame, will just have to wait. Won't have the monitors then, but at least I can do it to my other two screens.
Thank you
