I'm having real problems copying files to a micro SD card to use with my phone. There are a huge number of files totalling 25 Gb, and whilst if I do a copy in one go, many will copy, the majority fail to copy or corrupt. This is regardless of whether I use a card reader or direct connection to the phone.
So I'm thinking, if I can do a direct copy and verify, without the write caching (hence avoiding the wait when unmounting it) I may have more success. I don't want to rsync, simply because I want permissions on the phone (Android - CM11) to be suitable for the phone.
Is there a way to achieve this?
