bluetoothctl not working

nothing appears on the bluetoothctl interface when i type something........plz help

well, I installed bluez, then bluez-utils......nothing that i type appears on the screen, it just shows "bluetooth#" and a cursor

First post!

You probably don't have the bluetooth service running.

# systemctl start bluetooth

Then go for 'bluetoothctl' again, and hit you should be able to get going.  I ran into this myself when I first came to Arch from Ubuntu.

To make sure the bluetooth service always starts automatically, run..

# systemctl enable bluetooth
