Hi Graysky,
could you build a package set for broadwell processors?
Cheers

Isn't Broadwell just a shrunk Haswell? The wikipedia page does list it as Haswell, so my guess is that Haswell should work just fine.
What is the output of:
gcc -c -Q -march=native --help=target | grep march

But you're right, Broadwell is a shrunk Haswell. A tick in Intels tick-tock cycle.

@indianahorst - That is very odd, one of my sig files is a 0-byte file. I have deleted it and re-signed it now. Please try again.

It could be that the 0-byte sig has been saved to your cache. Can you delete it manually and try again?

Hold up is the broadcom-wl package. It does not build cleanly against 4.0 and I don't have time to search fedora or gentoo or google to find the patch for it. If one of you guys can do it, it will speed the 4.0 release up.

Hi graysky,
I found a patch from the maintainer of the AUR package broadcom-wl-dkms, maybe it can be useful.
PS: thank you very much for the repo
Offline
Does it apply cleanly and give a functional module? I tired it last night and found that it didn't apply, but I didn't inspect the two source tarballs due to a lack of time. Are they the same?

The sources are the same (same urls and same checksums) but I've not tried to build it yet. I will try to apply the patch but I can not test if the module is functional because I do not use broadcom-wl drivers.
-- edit:
The patch applies cleanly and it includes also (and conflicts with) the following patches:
unfuck.patch : slightly different, you may want to check the differences.
broadcom-sta-6.30.223.248-linux-3.18-null-pointer-crash.patch : identical.
I also tried to build the patched broadcom-wl-ck in a clean chroot using linux-ck-4.0 (I've stolen it from the next branch of your repo ) and it worked.

@mauritiusdadd - thank you for the deeper analysis. I will dig in when I am able today and push some packages to the AUR for user feedback.

I wonder if you would consider adding this patch

When i use BFQ i get random lock ups and this patch seems to fix this issue
