Rhythmbox: Wont play Mp3s, oggs

Hi! Im tying to get my box all setup and decided i'd like to give rhthymbox a go as my music player, trying to use less qt based apps. Anyways, I installed it and everything, but when I try to import a one of my music files, mp3s or oggs, it says "File is not a valid audio stream" or something to that effect. I've tried different things, like uninstalling and reinstalling gstreamer and its plugins, a few other things which I dont think were really related but I tried anyways. Its getting really frustrating. So if anybody has some idea of what the problem might be, I'd really appreciate the help.

You might try installing (since you didn't specify) the gstreamer-mad plugin.
EDIT: Also be sure to register those plugs:

$ gst-register-0.8

Hey thanks for the help! Im using gstreamer0.10 so there appears to be no register program, but I did try to get the plugin, I just got all of them, after running pacman -Sy, and there seemed to be more available,  anyways, it worked! Some things can be so frustrating, but thanks, I was starting to think it wouldn't work.
