PulseAudio has it all upside down, mistaking channels

I'm losing my mind over PulseAudio today and I need a new set of eyes to look at my problem. So here it is.

My motherboard is Gigabyte H61N-USB3 and audio is powered by Realtek ALC889.
I've installed pulseaudio, pulseaudio-alsa, alsa-utils, alsa-tools.
When I enter alsamixer, there's only one channel Master for PulseAudio, which I think is good.
When I change my card to HDA Intel PCH, there are a lot of channels. But one thing in particular bothers me. There's no Auto-Mute mode option.
I have my speakers connected through the backside of the motherboard and my headphones on the front panel of PC. There are two channels for those two options, Headphones and Front (yes, you read that right). When I have both connectors plugged in, the sound only comes out of the speakers. If I disconnect speakers, headphones start to work.

This behavior is upside down all over the place and I have no idea why. alsamixer shows that my speakers are connected to the Front output and my headphones to Headphones output.

I really need some fresh brain and eyes to look at this problem.
