running Visual Studio

Is it possible to run a copy of Visual Studio in Arch without going through a VM?

Re: running Visual Studio

I doubt it.  What language are you going to use.?  Are you planning on running your product on the Linux box?
You might try it under Wine and tell us how it goes, but It  seems like an exercise in frustration to me.

Re: running Visual Studio

ehhh... I'm not even going to mess with wine.
I was just curious. I will have to do it through a VM I suppose.

it's going to be assembly code.(for school)
the product is going to be ran on windows, but I prefer the linux enviro to work in.

Re: running Visual Studio

Why do you need an IDE for assembly?
