I had manjaro before and it autoconfiged my bumble setup(i think) but arch doesnt seem to do this and I cant use bumblebee on it.
I get this error when running "optirun glxgears"
[ERROR]Cannot access secondary GPU - error: [XORG] (EE) systemd-logind: failed to get session: PID 6607 does not belong to any known session
[ERROR]Aborting because fallback start is disabled.my laptop(asus n53sv) has nvidia and intel gpu. on my keyboard I have an LED indicator that shows blue color when intel gpu is used and bbswitch in installed and active. On manjaro when using optirun command the lde incdicator would go white(nvidia powered on) and would work. But in arch running optirun glxgears gives the mentioned error and then the LED indicator would go white and stay white. Then if I restart bumblebeed service(not bbswitch) it would go back to blue.
I read the wiki entry for bumblebee and installed all the packages needed and even added the needed modules to that config file mentioned for this specific error and rebuild with mkiniticpio and even updated grub config but after reboot this problem is still there.
can somebody help me fix this? I think I have to add a config somewhere. In manajro I think there was a xorg config for nvidia in /etc/X11/ somewhere. Am I missing something?
this is the log of xorg after error.

Bumblebee's config files are located in /etc/bumblebee.
Also post the output of
optirun -vv glxgearsSometimes issues with bumlebee are caused by the busId not being detected correctly. You could try to set the BusId in /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia to the value shown in lscpi.
I put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do. (Gune | Titan A.E.)

1 me@mypc ~ % I no longer think it is config related I even copied related fils that I could find in /etc/modules.d and /etc/bumblebee from former manjaro setup but that didnt help.
I least I cant find anymore related files.

See here: https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/Bu … issues/600
tldr: enable acpid. If it still fails, read the other proposed solutions (loading modules in initram, edit configs, etc.).
Edit: one other thing you could try is getting bumblebee-git from AUR.

the git install didn't change anything, unless I need to restart my laptop?
I restart the bumblebeed service but if fails the same way.
installed acpid and starting it didn't help either.
I have added the modules of i915 and bbswitch before ( as I said in the first post about the wiki purposed solution) and recreated the cpio but that didn't help.
now I have to try this "GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="rcutree.rcu_idle_gp_delay=1" in /etc/default/grub" .
btw can it be this (even though I have disabled ipv6 in manjaro and didn't have this issue) , I have removed the added config I inserted to kernel parameters for disabling ipv6 but that didn't help either.

ok none of that was the cause.
they are two culprit discussed in bumblebee wiki talk page.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ta … wn_session
as I mentioned there I solved it by modifying that config as mentioned in Debian wiki.
