Brother mfc-j5910dw : scanner start failed Invalid Argument

hi,
I recently managed to install Arch on my laptop using Gnome.
Now I would like to use my Brother mfc-j5910dw. I installed the drivers for printer and scanner with the help of this page : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Brother_MFC-420CN.
The printer works fine but not the scanner.
When running

 brsaneconfig2 -q | grep monScanner

I get:

0 monScanner   "MFC-J5910DW" I:192.168.1.28

which is what is expected.

Using xsane, it seems to find the scanner at start up but when I try to acquire a preview or simply to scan, I get this message (translated from French which is  my computer's language):

Scanner startup failed. Invalid Argument

The command

 scanimage -L

returns

device 'v4l:/dev/video' is a Noname BisonCam, NB pro virtual device

that is to say nothing about my scanner.

An other distro on an other PC returns:

device `brother4:net1;dev0' is a Brother monScanner MFC-J5910DW

As suggested in the page I followed, I manually added brother4 in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf.

I need help.
