Request: AUR - Issue - Camunda

Hi,

I am interested in Camunda BPMN. It is a BPMN/BPEL Open Source SW for modelling Business Process/Workflows. I want to add it to my toolchain for building webservices, but I am an beginner in web programming. Can you provide an AUR package of camunda ?

Here is the source link: http://camunda.org/

Re: Request: AUR - Issue - Camunda

http://docs.camunda.org/7.2/guides/installation-guide/

Do you want the camunda standalone webapp or the BPM platform ?
In both cases you will have to decide which application server to use (tomcat7 is in community repo)

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

Re: Request: AUR - Issue - Camunda

I want this one. http://camunda.org/release/camunda-modeler-standalone/

I think there are some java issues. It does not work properly on arch, while it is ok on ubuntu and fedora.

Thanks.

So the one described here : http://camunda.org/bpmn/tool/ ?

Have you tried running it with oracle java (check AUR) instead of openjdk/jre ?

Yes as decribed at bottom of this page.

Oracle products?.. I hate oracle more than Java.. smile

I tried an AUR package but the installation proccess needs to download jre packages from oracle web site on which login is required. So it failed. I tried to download packages by myself, but oracle website redirected me among pages as an infinitive loop.

Thanks..

Re: Request: AUR - Issue - Camunda

Well, under system requirements that page links to the official java site, that suggests they only test with oracle java.

you could try one of the binaries they supply here : https://www.java.com/en/download/linux_manual.jsp and create a bin-* package for it .
