Since upgrade of my kernel and xorg...

Hi,

Since I've upgraded the kernel and Xorg, my computer is slower, and my alsa is'nt working anymore, except when I redo the alsaconf, but I'm obligated to do it every time I start my computer, and my mouse is'nt scrolling anymore except when I type:

/usr/bin/xmodmap -e "pointer = 1 2 3 8 9 4 5 6 7 10 11"

And again every time I boot...

I'm tired to redo all this stuff before using my computer, could someone help me?

Thanks!

Re: Since upgrade of my kernel and xorg...

you can put that "pointer ..." part into "~/.Xmodmap" and add alsa as daemon to your /etc/rc.conf, that may solve some problems, or at least the "redoing" thing.

A better way is described in the wiki where also the alsa thingy should be explained somewhere smile
