[SOLVED] upgrading libvpx:Virtualbox ok breaks ffmpeg, vlc,smplayer

Hi,
I installed virtualbox, it was not running until I upgraded the libvpx package.
Only this breaks vlc, smplayer, ffmpeg.

libvpx-1.3.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz ;working package for the mediaplayes
libvpx-1.4.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz ;working package for virtualbox

What can I do to let the maintainer of the Virtualbox package know?

And is there a way to compile virtualbox with the newer libvpx version, whilst having ffmpeg, vlc and smplayer use the older working libvpx package?

I installed virtualbox, it was not running until I upgraded the libvpx package.

Partial upgrades are not supported. Run a full system upgrade, please.
