[SOLVED] Systemd 219 boot hangs

Hello everyone.

After updating to systemd 219 yesterday I am no longer able to boot the system. It just hangs there and never reaches gdm.
Switching to other another virtual terminal doesn't work either.
Luckily I have windows as dual boot:(

Given the circumstances, can I still somehow perform a downgrade?

Use the live cd to chroot into your installation and downgrade the package

Yes, there seems to be no other option other than downgrading.

Well it wasn't systemd after all, but rather gdm:(
