Horizontal mouse acceleration in CSGO

I have noticed a slight horizontal mouse acceleration.

There are a few weird things about it. First, it is only noticeable when moving my mouse very slowly - it basically doesn't move around at all. But if I move my mouse slightly faster, the normal speed kicks in and I can't notice any difference. But if I move slow enough, I can swipe my whole mousepad without the view moving an inch.

Second, it is only horizontal. It happens only when I move from left to right and vice versa. When I try to movy from top to bottom or from bottom to top, it movel like expected. I have no Idea why it manifests only in one direction like that, but it's bad enough for slight aim adjustments.

Happens with both m_rawinput 1 and 0. None of m_* convars helped either.

I haven't tried any other Source game yet, but it would require me to download at least 4 gigs, so I'd rather not to.

The mouse works perfectly fine outside of the game and even works when I'm in ingame menu.

I'm using KDE with Plasma 5 and have disabled acceleration via KDE's system settings. It's not really an explitit error or a crash, so I'm not sure what log should I include to help.

$ uname -sr
Linux 3.19.3-3-ARCH

Re: Horizontal mouse acceleration in CSGO

Seems to be a problem with CSGO itself.

Re: Horizontal mouse acceleration in CSGO

I don't think this is a solution, but a crude workaround: I have a L G9x mouse that can go up to 5700dpi so I've tried switching to this highest dpi and compensating with extremely low sensitivity ingame. The problem is much less noticeable, but it's not a solution for someone with low dpi mouse.
