I have some issues since Linux 4.0.1 update. I have some flickerings starting in GDM login-mask and sometimes in Chrome while loading forms.
Some minutes ago I had to shutdown my laptop, and got a kernel panic 1-2 seconds after selecting shutdown in the gnome-panel.
My system was upgraded some minutes ago, I have the german local and gnome.
My CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz with an Intel HD2xxx without any other graphic card. No external display is connected, but my laptop has hdmi and vga.
I think it may be not advisable to upgrade to 4.0.1 with an Intel HD2xxx graphic card.
Note: Kernelpanic might not be related to the flickering issues or the kernel in the offical repo, because it happend with the linux-4.0.0-ck kernel.

Next issue: Suspend-to-ram with lid-close doesn't work sometimes ... else the display is not locked too which is an big security flaw!
