Mouse and keyboard only working as root in Virtualbox

Hi, I managed to install Arch Linux in Virtualbox.  When launching XFCE as normal user the keyboard and mouse doesn't respond. However they work when I'm logged in as root.

I tried to remove the /usr/share/X11/x.org.conf.d/10-evdev.conf file and then the problem happen for the root user as well. No keyboard and mouse working.

UPDATE: I fixed the problem by creating an .xinitrc in the user's home folder then added:
/usr/bin/VBoxClient-all
