How about moving repos to github?

Hi there,

I just checked if a package (which one does not matter) is up to date.
Then I saw: At least its flagged out of date.
Hmm i wanted it now.
So I downloaded the current package files modified it and started the build for the updated version.
Its ok so far it was no big dial.

But on the other hand, I did some thing, what the maintainer will have to do again, to update it in repo.

Here came github into my mind.

I could fork it and ask the maintainer for a pull.
The first step is done.
The maintainer could just look over it, check it and pull it if it is ok.

It would be much easier for anyone to contribute to arch.
Additionally all the other infrastructure github offers.

would this be an option?

greetings
